The mayor of Boa Vista is visiting the Canary Islands at the invitation of the Association for Sustainable Development and Biodiversity Conservation of Fuerteventura. José Pinto Almeida is looking for funding for projects in several areas. During his visit the Mayor of Boa Vista should meet with officials of the autonomous government of Fuerteventura, in order to discuss some projects that raise environmental issues and sanitation, such as Boalimpa which has already provided about 60 thousand euros for the municipality of Boa Vista for sanitation.
The mayor of Boa Vista will also seek funding for studies into stormwater drainage for the town of Sal Rei
José Almeida Pinto will also discuss with his counterparts funding for education on Boa Vista. including the building of partnerships for the School of Professional Technical in Rabil.

Recent storms would indicate that storm-water drains are a necessity, hopefully the water could flow into reservoirs to be used at a later time for irrigation/whatever.
